RIM Bold 9000 Free From iPhone Woes thru AT&T
Aware of the troubles Apple, Inc.’s iPhone 3G had, Research
in Motion and AT&T are being careful to avert those problems with RIM’s
BlackBerry Bold 9000.
RIM has launched the Bold 9000 outside the U.S. as promised, but before that happened, AT&T has to ensure that the Bold won’t have the same problem as the 3G iPhone.
The Bold 9000 features a large HVGA color LCD, GPS and support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b and g. The smartphone includes a media player for music, videos and photos, and a two-megapixel camera with video recording.
Meantime, RIM is promoting the BlackBerry Storm or Thunder 9500,tagged as RIM’s iPhone killer. Unluckily again it would seem that RIM is
undergoing delays in launching the device, this time on Verizon’s network. It was found out when tested the device a few months ago, that there were still problems with the touchscreen experience.
